Blue Chrome – Kahawai Series

The Blue Chrome Kahawai Series jigs are a solid choice for kahawai, kingfish, and other mid-water predators. The chrome body throws plenty of flash, while the blue detail gives a clear profile that fish can pick up easily in moving water or bright conditions.

These jigs can be fished a number of different ways:

• Slow pitch
• Slow jig
• High-speed vertical jigging
• Horizontal jigging / shore pitching
• Trolled behind the boat

One of the easiest and most effective methods is letting the jig drop to the bottom, then lifting and winding to bring on the bite.

Each lure is rigged with Mustad treble hooks, giving strong hook-ups and the holding power needed when bigger fish turn up. A tail stinger can be added if you want, but it can sometimes lead to more than one fish hooked at once.

The lures are hand painted in a durable powdercoat that’s also UV-bright — shine a UV torch on them to see the glow. The UV helps once you’re deeper than 30 metres, where normal colours fade fast.
