Blue White – Kahawai Series

The Blue White Kahawai Series jigs are a dependable choice for kahawai, kingfish, and other mid-water predators. The blue–white colour combo gives strong contrast and visibility, making it easy for fish to track the lure when they’re schooling or feeding near the surface.

These jigs can be fished in several effective ways:

• Slow pitch
• Slow jig
• High-speed vertical jigging
• Horizontal jigging / shore pitching
• Trolled behind the boat

A simple and effective approach is letting the jig drop to the bottom, then lifting and winding — a reliable way to bring on the bite.

Each lure is rigged with a Mustad single hook, giving solid hook-ups and enough strength for when bigger fish turn up. A tail stinger can be added if needed, but it can sometimes result in more than one fish hooked at once.

The lures are hand painted with a durable powdercoat that’s also UV-bright — shine a UV torch on them and you’ll see it light up. This helps once you’re deeper than 30 metres, where normal colours fade quickly.
