Orange White – Kahawai Series

The Orange White Kahawai Series jigs are a good all-round option for kahawai, snapper, mackerel, and other inshore species. The bright orange–white combo gives great contrast, helping the lure stand out when fish are feeding mid-water or chasing bait.

These jigs can be fished in several effective ways:

• Slow pitch
• Slow jig
• High-speed vertical jigging
• Horizontal jigging / shore pitching
• Trolled behind the boat

A simple and reliable method is letting the jig drop to the bottom, then lifting and winding to bring on the bite.

Each lure is rigged with Mustad treble hooks, giving strong hook-ups and holding power when larger fish turn up. A tail stinger can be added if needed, though it can sometimes result in more than one fish hooked at once.

The lures are hand painted using a durable powdercoat that’s also UV-bright — shine a UV torch on them and you’ll see it light up. The UV helps once you’re fishing deeper than 30 metres, where normal colours fade out quickly.
