Pink Chrome – Kahawai Series

The Pink Chrome Kahawai Series jigs are a strong option for kahawai, kingfish, and other mid-to-top-water predatory fish. The chrome flash and bright pink detail give good visibility and draw attention when fish are feeding higher in the water column.

These jigs can be fished a number of different ways:

• Slow pitch
• Slow jig
• High-speed vertical jigging
• Horizontal jigging / shore pitching
• Trolled behind the boat

A simple approach is letting the jig fall to the bottom, then lifting and winding — a reliable method for getting bites.

Each lure is rigged with Mustad treble hooks, giving solid hook-ups and holding power when bigger fish turn up. A tail stinger can be added if you want, though it can sometimes lead to double hook-ups.

The lures are hand painted in a durable powdercoat that’s also UV-bright — shine a UV torch on them and you’ll see the glow. This visibility helps once you’re deeper than 30 metres, where standard colours fade out quickly.
